Achin Bhowmik, Ph.D., was at Intel for many years leading the Perceptual Computing Group at Intel, where he oversaw the R&D, operations, and businesses in the areas of 3D sensing and interactive computing, computer vision and AI, autonomous robots, and much more.

He’s now the chief technology officer and executive vice president of engineering at Starkey, leading the drive to transform hearing aids into communication devices and multifunction wearable health with both advanced sensors and AI. He’s also an adjunct professor at Stanford School of Medicine, advising research and lectures.
